Yes… You are crazy…

Molitoth 12-13-2021 07:07 AM

oh, how some chiefs fans crave the days of Alex Smith.

Yes

IIRC, this was a 3rd and long play so this is a little confusing.

You do see #24 lurking there, right? D Will runs like a 4.7.

If Pat dumps that off, Williams might gain 5 yards.

I'm not sure there is another QB that could have done that

Patrick is built the same way.

This is the moment Kerr learned that. The very moment. It was in Curry's first truly extraordinary year. Watching it live, you went through the same emotions as Kerr, and immediately came to accept that Curry was different.

For the record, I have thought of this moment many times as we watched Mahomes' ascent.

DrunkBassGuitar 12-13-2021 08:39 AM

no it was not dumb. you need to make some of those crazy ass throws once in a while to remind teams that it's still possible. they're a tool for psychological warfare. there's nothing you can do to stop Mahomes. he is not human, he can't be reasoned with or bargained with. he does not feel pity or remorse or fear and he absolutely will not stop, ever.

Has Direckshun even replied to his own thread?

That's always how Deberg does it... post something incredibly stupid and just sit back and watch.

It's actually pretty smart when it comes to being this stupid on purpose, or else you just come off like you're trying way too hard if you keep up the charade by defending yourself over and over.

Sassy Squatch 12-13-2021 09:06 AM

Kind of hard to pull the Deberg schtick when you've posted similarly stupid shit in the past with complete sincerity and defended the position vehemently.

Also, personal opinion, but the Brady bait was too on the nose. Lost all the subtlety there.

Need a Deberg & Direckshun sub forum that nobody else can see so they can just post their stupid threads in there.

In football you take hits occasionally. It happens.

Brady is the single most overrated player in the history of sports. Always had a great defense when he won.

The play I didn't like was the late Kelce shovel pass. With us up 4 TDs I was hoping we could get some guys out of the game sooner and be less banged up for Thursday night football.

morphius 12-13-2021 09:42 AM

When he went to throw it I was wondering what he was doing going long there, but then saw how wide open Hill was and was just amazed that he threw that ball all the way across the field and laughed and enjoyed it.

Kelce took some hard shots yesterday.

Am I upset that on 3rd and 16 Patrick Mahomes went for the 1st down instead of dumping the ball off for 5 and setting up a punt?

Um...no. Why the hell would I be upset by that?

He made the sort of play that a championship caliber QB makes. This one seems pretty easy.
