This is not true.
This season Alex is attempting only 5.7% of his passes downfield.
During 2012 and 2011 Tom Brady was at 13.2% and 9.8%.
Even during the 9.8% season Brady attempted 60 passes down the field. This year Alex is on pace for 32.
It should be noted that Alex is not good at moving the chains or throwing downfield. His 49ers teams and this team were/are poor on third down, and of course lol at his ability to go down the field.
Alex sucks, get used to it.
