You were showing how Alex was league bottom at 9.7% attempts and failed to notice Tom Brady during his historic 5000 yard season was at 9.8%. You also failed to notice Alex was 5% more accurate downfield than Brady.

Face it, your "OMG WE GOTTA GET A QB WHO THROWS IS LOONNNNGG" theory is full of crap. Like or hate Alex Smith all you want, but deep ball attempts is not the issue. Data is pretty incontrovertible that you don't need to throw deep to have a prolific offense.
