There is something to be mentioned though, that in the NBA those guys push and shove each other all the time, it's very much a "don't disrespect me, bitch, or I'm going to deck you" culture. A "I have to gesture in your face if I score on you" culture... etc. That's what these guys emulate.
Everyone encourages players to have "fire" and just this massive aggressiveness, to overpower your opponents by sheer will... Well, you can't just switch it off.
It's sort of like Richard Sherman. He was interviewed seconds after doing battle all afternoon with someone who he hates, and who hates him back, someone who is known for running his mouth all day. You stick a mic in front of him, and you get Richard Sherman still in combat mode. That's not surprising.
The only thing that is surprising here is that he shoved a fan, and he was probably just frustrated because his team is circling the drain and were losing again. It's just immaturity.
