I hope you're right. But this looks to me like a collins/Aldrich year or Taylor/TRob year. If we don't have a guy step up and be unstoppable it's going to suck. I mean, I think we'll be running out better talent than Connor freaking Teahan, but I don't see a team that can beat you from anywhere.
Like I said, I hope I'm wrong but it just feels that way.
Besides that, statistically, you'd think we'd be due for a dud. Maybe you can point to some tourney performances and say there it is, but Christ, the big 12 titles, the home record, FFS the away record, the wins against ****ing everybody, all point to a goddamn ridiculous run of good teams. You have to think there is going to be a year where the wheels fall off. It happens to every other school. I figure we are due. Debbie Downer I know, but it boggles the mind the level of basketball we've seen under Self. I certainly don't want a junk season, but I'm preparing myself for one.
