Yes, Rodgers likes the balls to be over-inflated, so he has them over-inflated, then they are checked by the refs. He expressed his disappointment that the refs relieve some of the pressure, meaning that he plays with the footballs in the condition that the refs have approved. You may notice that the underlined portion of the previous sentence is exactly what Brady and the Patriots did not do.

Do you have a link for the bolded part? If true it completely debunks any notion of weather being a factor- which I have doubted from the start anyways since when using the Real Gas Law equation you can't come away with a 2 psi difference unless some other variable is present.
