I'd throw a 2nd at Beal. They won't get him with a 3rd because they'd be too far down the pecking order.
They got the extra 2 for Peters and the 'penalty' of having to wait until 2019 to use it was the biggest kick in the dick. If they can use that to get Beal (and of course presuming they think he can play), then trading 2 years for Peters for 4 years of Beal really isn't that bad.
If they think he can play as a functional starter this year (and physically he damn sure can), then they should have no problem using that 2 on him.
As for the suggestion that they throw a 4th at Alexander - we don't have one, right? Went in the Ragland deal. I'd flip a 5th out there to see if he fell but I wouldn't offer up a 3rd at all.
