Ok thanks, and since he has to go ahead and be the one to tell Flores that Daboll already has the job, no reason to lie at that point about believing he was texting Daboll.
He just doubled down on his mistake and added gross face-saving dishonesty to having received inside information and not informing the league or his supposed friend Flores that Flores was getting a sham interview.
