I’m not thrilled with the move. I wanted to spend money on defense. And I agree with wanting some speed at wr, like Sammy on the cheap. But jujus contract ain’t bad and it could have been a lot worse. Lots of teams spending big on WR. As many have pointed out, juju has been great with good qb play and #1 wr opposite him. I’m sure juju wasn’t willing to sign a long term deal. He wanted to come in and blow it up and sign a big deal next season. In the end, this could be a great deal for both sides. Juju could blow it up. Plus this pushes hardman for get better, contract year for him and he’s now the 4th target. He’s gotta fight to get the stats he needs for free agency.

What I have a big issue with is now wanting to draft wr. We need a big draft on defense. Maybe draft offense in the 6th or 7th unless we acquire a 5th but this defense looks bad. We need DE, CB, DT and LB. We don’t have the money now to get FA help unless some surprising restructuring happens and that’ll be hard with d. Adam’s & Watson’s deals for wr & qb.
