So when the Chiefs lost to the Patriots in the AFCCG, then won the next years' Super Bowl, it had all the trimmings of a feel-good story. The Chiefs overcoming the heartbreaking loss to win it all, first SB win in 50 years for the Chiefs, Andy Reid's first ring, Mahomes the up-and-comer getting a ring, etc. The NFL world was pretty happy with that first win.
The problem however, is they expected that crown to be shared over the years by other AFC teams and other feel good stories. Instead, the Chiefs are dominating the AFC the same way the Patriots did, and the NFL world hates them for this.
It just comes with the territory, guys. Any team that dominates for an extended period of time WILL be hated because they're sick and tired of seeing the same team over and over again.

That's just not what history says will happen.
history says that every decade has a dynasty. The Pats had 2 separate and distinct dynasties, but in any given decade there's a team that won 3-4 rings.
We're gonna be that team. If the rest of the NFL thought the league was just gonna turn into some merry go round of championships, they haven't paid enough attention.
