Both of them are guys he went into FA on and just kept hitting 'bid' on to win. And with Mathieu he did seem to know when to pull the chute. With Watkins he made the poor decision to allow a playoff run (and his affinity for the player) influence him into retaining him for a year longer than we should have.
We're going to have some guys we have to make that sort of review on in the coming years. Thornhill and surprisingly Wylie are both gonna fall in that group and I think he moves on from both. Then Sneed, Gay and Bolton. I'd say Creed but I think Creed re-sets the C market and we just bite the bullet there.

Creed and Sneed are the ones I see being brought back. Bolton maybe but that depends on if he’s willing to take less of a deal instead of trying to reset the market.
