There's prudent and there's reckless.
Prudent would be to draft a guy AND sign a vet just in case.
Reckless would be to draft a guy and just expect to plug him in and go.
You gotta take the emotion out of this. The Chiefs aren't screwed. Nobody is saying that at all. They're just asking for some ****ing common sense.
