If my choices are Taylor for $20 million or Brown for $16, I'm taking Taylor every single time without question.
We know what Brown is, and he hinders this offense big time. Taylor has a higher ceiling and is a drastically better fit here. This all worked out for the best.
Burrow is going to get destroyed. Keep in mind Brown has only ever played LT (or RT for that matter) for Jackson and Mahomes, two of the most athletic and mobile QBs in history. It's going to be really bad for them.
