You can watch the replay and see it takes no more than 3 seconds from the time Sauce makes the hold in question to the time the ref clutches the flag. It's clear as day. He double-clutches because he's trying not to hit a player, but the flag is in his hand before the interception is made.
People are actually arguing that because the ref took ALL OF THREE SECONDS to grab the flag, it's suspicious and he clearly wanted to help the Chiefs win.
The ref could have taken 10 seconds and it would still be the correct call.

It's so dumb. Would we rather refs knee-jerk throw flags without even a second's thought? Or would we like them to mentally replay it, maybe think about where the contact occurred on the field, etc? We demand that these guys get it right, but then they get murdered for making a CORRECT call a half a beat too slow.
