Perhaps, I know this is a real tough concept, PERHAPS a guy like Scott Rolen comes along who possesses a STRONGER arm and they move the guy to 2nd base because 2nd base is an easy position to play if you were a SS or a 3rd baseman...
Never once did I say 2nd base was tougher to play than SS or 3rd, because it is, by far, easier...easier in high school, in low A, AAA and the pros...
All I said, and I'm right here, is, the VAST majority of MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL 2nd baseman have strong throwing arms.
