Saying any qb on our roster right now has a 0% chance.... is just dumb.
For all we know, our streak of signicant personel losses on opening day might continue losing Cassel for significant time, Thigpen underperforms and Croyle is given another shot and goes injury free for five years, as Trent did after suffering injury after injury elewhere. Not saying I am wishig that,Im not, but it isnt out of the realm of "Chiefdom" either.
Barry just sees it as he wants to and that is by ignoring anything negative about the team. He will get better and his opinion will be taken better once he accepts negative views asxwell as positive ones and forms a unique opinion from the most personally convincing of both. Or maybe he is genuinly happy being a homer and that is his way of enjoying his role as a fan.
I supported Croyle too. Not to the extent he does/did, but I did support him. I have wanted a QB we drafted to succeed since I was two! Looks like I will still be wanting.
My brothers son, 3 year old Troy, met Brodie at camp and got his auto on ffn and evertime the Chiefs are on offense he stares at the screen pumping his fist shouting "go Brodie, go Brodie!" or "good job Brodie" and runs around the room asking people if they saw Brodie.
I havent had the heart to tell the little guy that the guy playing for the Chiefs isnt Brodie anymore...
Croyle could turn out like Trent Green, injury after injury till he lands in the right situation and then goes on a good run of a few productive and healthy years.
Time will tell.
Personally, I think he will play in a regular season game again, for another team in a couple years, but will get hurt on the first real hit again.
too bad...
