What are you talking about?
Kansas won a BCS bowl game 3 seasons ago. Something MU and KSU have never done. Yesterday was bad but it was the guy's first game. I think the only KU football coaches to win their debuts were Fambrough and Terry Allen... Accomplished coaches in the past like Glen Mason and Mangino lost their openers. Not making excuses but they are not on the level of Baylor or Iowa State.
Neb is not leaving because the level of football being played in the Big 12. The Big 12 is significantly more accomplished in football in recent years than the Big 10.
Nebraska thinks they are on the level with Texas or Oklahoma, etc... but they're not. Yes they've got a good defense right now but I personally think they are leaving for a league with more alumni and tv sets. So yes, attendance is higher in those stadiums because of how many freaking people went to the school, not because they are good football teams.
