Yup. Really, this entire case comes down to one thing: Did Dumervil show the gun to the people in the car. Nothing else matters. If he doesn't have prints on the gun, he should walk.
If the prints are there, then it really just depends on the specifics from the witnesses. I think the people in the car can safely be considered to be credible witnesses that there was A gun involved, but not necessarily that both guys had one. Then, it really comes down to the Victoria's Secret witness and whether he/she can be considered to be credible.
Ignoring all that though, based on the description that this happened in heavy traffic, I'd be pretty amazed if they really only came up with one non-involved witness in the whole thing. Surely SOMEONE driving around there saw what happened more closely.
