This franchise hasn't drafted a QB in the first round in 30 years. We have the first overall pick and have no excuse not to take a QB and alot of guys on here are excited and really like the top rated QB. You seem to take a huge offense to that.
Now, yeah, most of them go over board when talking about Smith. But with what the franchise has put us thru in terms of QB's, who gives a shit? Let them have their fun if they want, I'd say it's deserved.

Not at all. I have Smith as 3rd on my board. I just don't think he walks on water and that he is the only QB in this entire draft that is worth a shit, as some elaborate on the board.
I want one of the best QB's in the draft. That doesn't mean one of them won't be there at 34.
If Geno lights it up tomorrow and at his pro day and becomes a top 10 pick, then take him 1st overall, but right now that's just not the case, as hard as that is to swallow.
