If I went to Australia I'd like to meet Evon Goolagong standing by a billabong wearing a thong and puffing on a loaded bong.

Read the book In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson. You'll practically feel like you've been to all of them.

I voted for the Great Barrier Reef! After reading NewChief's post and looking up Hinchinbrook Island, it is going to take a long vacation, but the snorkling and diving at the Barrier Reef followed up by a four day hike at Hinchinbook, would be fantastic!!

I have been to Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Cairns, And the Blue Mountains.
A little advice when driving in Australlia. When taking a right hand turn off of a one way street make sure you turn into the 2nd lane. Otherwise a bunch of Aussie construction workers will holler " YO MATE YOUR ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!" |
