Turkey Frying Question - Page 2

OK, I've fried several turkeys in the past and they've always turned out fine. I've always used peanut oil (and most websites recommend peanut oil). However, I have an unopened container of regular Wesson cooking oil and I am out of peanut oil. Has anyone ever used regular vegetable oil for frying a turkey? If so, how did it turn out compared to peanuot oil or can you tell a difference? Peanut oil is pretty expensive so if I can save $25 and use the oil I already have, I will (as long as it won't be a disaster)

AvocadoThis rather unusual light, slightly nutty tasting oil is considered primarily to be a novelty. To add a different twist to salad dressings, try using avocado oil in place of the oil you would normally use. This oil is often made from damaged and cosmetically inferior avocados. It is low in saturated fatty acids and high in polyunsaturates.
