Carr is Awful with a capital A.

If you want a young QB that you could develop, I would go with Patrick Ramsey in Washington. The kid has a rocket for an arm but isn't in a good scheme for him.

That's generally a symptom of protection breakdown.

Except that Carr has had this issue since his college days.

He's never had any protection. Never.

I'm no Carr fan but the dude has no protection. You can't throw the ball w/out a pocket.

When I've seen him with protection, in person, he delivers the ball. That's all I know.

I don't know that answer either.

What I do know is that scouting reports on him listed holding the ball too long as one of his weaknesses coming out of school.

He may hold the ball too long, but on plays designed to give him opportunities at quick decisions (in which he's also given protections) he performs well.

I'm not saying I want him under center in red. I'm saying he's underrated due to protection problems.

I've changed my mind about Carr, he's our QBOTF without a doubt.

Pass.

I almost forgot all the fanfare both Carr and Harrington got coming out. Both are medicore. I hope Houston keeps him.

Yeah. That's it. I just made my mind up tonight. It has nothing to do with the games I've seen him live. It's that damn Theisman. I can't resist him.

Now we're on somewhat on the same page. Garrard is definitely a hidden gem. But i do question his competitiveness though. He was a Restricted FA last year I think? And decided to re-up his contract for another 3 years? What was he thinking? that he will someday replace the Franchise in Leftwich???? C'mon, if you are really a gamer, you'd want to go somewhere and be starter ... not hang around another young franchise QB and play backup for a career.

I haven't seen much or any of Omar Jacobs game.
