Carlos Hall should get some consideration to at least start a couple of games

Been very impressed with him these last few games. Would you guys agree? From what I seen in these last 2 games from Carlos Hall is as much as what I've seen from Hicks in half a season. No insult to Hicks, but the truth is the truth, he is not that good. Carlos Hall is more explosive, he gets back there, that alone makes our defense better.

*I think if you pair him up with Jared Allen, you have 2 solid defensive ends. Plus, IF Ryan Sims comes back soon enough, our D-Line may be a lot better than I anticipated. Just imagine, adding Sims and Hall in the middle of the season? Talk about placing a patch on a leaky D-line. Just what we need!

We should use him like the Colts use Mathis.

I don't know if I really agree with that. Mathis really only gets 15-25 snaps a game. He had a high sack total because all the other teams are so worried about Freeney he has a one on one matchup and uses his speed to turn the corner. We don't have any kind of Freeney player to draw the attention of every person blocking on the field.

Yeah I guess your right. He should be used primarily on passing downs though.

Yeah I'd like to see Carlos take Eric Hicks's spot.

IMO Eric has some kind of deathlock on that starting DE spot for being a below average DE.

Yeah he's decent against the run but he brings absolutely NO pass rush. It's like having an undersized DT in there.

I feel like our pass rush will get better once he's finally gone.

Hopefully when DV retires, he'll take Hicks and McCleon with him.
