What's up with LJ this year? Maybe it's the line, but it seems like he's "pussy-footing" it or something. He looks really timid. I mean, he's done okay, but I remember him looking much more dominant last year.

Again, maybe it's the line...who knows. Maybe someone needs to tell him to his face to quit being a pussy and that will make him run angry again.

I watched him on Inside the NFL where he was miked up, and I could tell that the coaches are just preaching patience. They kept saying, "calm down, be patient, and the big ones will come." I think they are basically trying to keep him from trying to force plays when they aren't there. This might lead to more of what you see as pussyfooting.
Also, the 49ers played most of the game with 8 men in the box, which would be tough for every RB in the league.

Forget being patient when there are 9 guys trying to kill you-he needs to plow straight ahead and get the tough yards.
