It's going to get to a point that if the other team is up by 3, we can pretty much write off the game, because we can't come from behind if our collective lives depended on it.

It's getting to the point where I'm sick and tired of Herm's piss poor excuses and bullshit.

If we are 0-4, which we probably will be, I say we just throw Croyle in there and then we can all go out and shove a cactus right up our asses.
I don't mean to insult you, but I get the impression from this post that somehow you thought the Chiefs would be a contender this year. I am all for rooting for your team, but at some point you need to be honest with yourself. The team just doesn't have it this year. They are doing what I thought they would do. Go for it last year, and rebuild this year and possibly the next two. The Chiefs will be painful to watch this season, but that is the price (joy) of being a fan. You take the good with the bad.

I would really like to see a game chart that shows exactly how many passing plays were over 8 yds. Really I can only think of a couple.

We may have passed a lot on Sunday, but we sure as shit didn't throw the ball downfield with the exception of the shitty pass from Huard that Bowe caught.
I recall a 20 yarder to Parker on the first drive, but without watching the broadcast, I can't recall any more than that.

Yup, I believe it was a 22 yarder, of course both long balls involved the players have to turn around and fall on their butts to catch.

Pssst, Herm, at least 10 of those passes were barely more than a lateral.

I still think the short passes is a function of playing Huard. He's just gonna take the safe play, he's always been that way, even last year, that's what he did. You put Croyle in and you'll start seeing some passes downfield, I'd almost guarantee.

But wait a minute, I thought we were playing Huard over Croyle because he gives us the best chance to win NOW? And that is what it boils to for me. I was prepaired for a rebuilding year, but when you make a move like that, and then don't win now, but rather get embarrassed now, then I am going to have some big time problems with losses like that.

Had Croyle been under center Sunday I'd have just shrugged my shoulders and moved on to next week. But when you are trying to be contender now, and then don't contend......

Its too bad the organization isn't honest with themselves. If they were truly rebuilding Brodie would be starting, Medlock wouldn't have been cut after one game and Parker would not have made this team.

This team will be painful to watch because it doesn't seem like they are building toward anything. I can deal with losses and rookie mistakes if there is a growth strategy.

I wish that I had stock in Johnson & Johnson because I'd be rich off of all of the Band-Aid's Carl has used over the years.
