Jared Allen - Best DE in the NFL?

Everything else about this football team sux but just being able to watch JA makes the games worth watching IMO. I continue to be amazed with his domination week in and week out and his improvement from last year to this year. He's always got sacks but most of them came in bunches mainly at home games as he was adept at jumping the silent count. But this year he's getting pressure on EVERY drop back and coming off the line like a bat out of hell. Not only does he lead the NFL in sacks but he's also solid against the run. I think he's in for Dwight Freeney type money and IMO he's earning it. Thoughts?

Without Jared, this team would...oh, i dont even wanna think about it.

Team MVP, hands down.
Now that is 1 year and Peppers has had some sort of breathing problem..there's still not a team that wouldn't love to have him. He's still one of the top 5 DE's.

Best tight end in the league, and has NEVER won a playoff game. When his career is over and he has all those accolades and no rings, he will be kicking himself in the ass for not going to a contender and getting himself a ring like Corey Dillon did. He was another guy that was the star player on a team that just couldnt get it done. Finally he leaves and gets himself a ring. Tony should do the same if he wants to win a playoff game.

I dont want that type of career for Jared Allen. I think he's awesome and Id love to see him as a Chief, but a guy with his motor and determination deserves to be on a winning team. The Chiefs have had their head up their ass for years now. They arent going to just suddenly turn it around.

He should bail into free agency and go to a team that knows what the objective in the NFL really is. A SUPERBOWL WIN. Not your goddamn bottom line, Carl.
So we should get rid of every outstanding player that comes our way?

He's saying what he thinks Allen should personally do, not what the Chiefs organization should do.

He's saying that he should leave. If every oustanding player did that, what kind of team would we have?

I, personally, think loyalty is a good thing. I know, I know. Woman answer.

Well, the Chiefs future isn't bright.....to a player all you can see is getting worse than getting better.

All you have to do is show the money that's what they're loyal to, unless they get like Junior Seau who is only playing to win one now.

JA's been the best DE in the league this season. Kampman's right up there. Osi's been good, but his overall season has been overrated due to the one 6 sack game.
