We aren't playing with a full team

We have place fillers at many positions. We are playing people just to fill the position:

Croyle/Huard, McIntosh, Jones, Darling, Donnie Edwards, Thomas are essentially place holders.

One or two of them might make a play or two from time to time, but they are huge liabilities. We won't be a good team with this many weaknesses on the field.

I feel the same way about our coaching staff. They are place filles. They don't significantly contribute to the team's chances of winning.

We had too many place fillers to win a very winnable game.

I still think Croyle could be good. He just needs to bulk up a bit to help his body stay healthy.

I want to give Herm more time. But he keeps disappointing me over and over.

McIntosh sucks. How does this guy still have a job?

I thought Albert played well. Several of our young players did alright. The future is bright, but this team will go nowhere until we get a real NFL coaching staff.

They did a Coaches "Hot seat" on ESPN Countdown today and they listed Eric Mangini, Lane Kiffin, Mike Nolan, and Wade Phillips (yikes), but of course Herm wasn't mentioned anywhere. Not even in the who else? conversation that took place after the list. Ugh. I think you are right.

If we were going to rebuild with a rookie QB, develop from within, we needed to draft him in '06 or '07. Taking a QB in '09 would be throwing in the towel and saying "the rebuild starts now, we'll compete in 2011."

Queeefs are rebuilding now. Any team with 15 rookies is in rebuild mode.
