I remember he was a big part of draft coverage for NFLN or ESPN (can't remember which) a couple of years ago. I really got the sense that they were grooming him for a studio job. But now, I doubt if he could get anything outside of Kansas City or St. Louis.

I realize that it's hard for these guys to face the end of their playing careers, but damn, he's playing for THE RAMS. There will be no playoff run, no Super Bowl, just pain, suffering and losing. Dude's just plain out of his mind.

Ive heard rumours of the Rams bringing in Vermeil for a consultant role there. Basically to help clean up the front office.

So, DV The Regulator is going to ride in and clean up the town? Check your firearms at the saloon door and there will be no rapes, murder, spitting in the street, vandalism, or reaches in the draft. Not in my franchise.

What sucks most about this news is that now the Lambs will be in the running for the best QB in the draft, and they are the only team that may finish with a record worse than the chiefs.

If the Rams get the #1 pick and don't take Oher, I'm pretty sure there will be riots in StL.

After they broke the story yesterday, Sirius Blitz called up Tory Holt to get his take on it. Apparently they broke the news to him as well because they said he declined the interview because he had to make some calls and find out what was going on. ::

Emmitt Smiff has a job.

Clearly, brains aren't important.

It's sad.

I liked Trent. Not right away, mind you, but he grew on me.

He wasn't smart, but he was tough. He blocked, he ran, he took the hits. He was like a re-Deberg.

I really don't want to watch him get ****ed up...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
