The I am drunk and calling Mecca out thread...

So... You told me numerous times, that I was wrong about Jake Long...

We argued about Dorsey. Gholsten, etc....

Wh proved himself the better player?

Are you willing to man up and admit that you were wrong? Or do you have more excuses?

Just curious... btw Malaluagua (who I have been high on) did NOT impress me in the Senior Bowl tonight... I would rather have Laurenitis... someone with more brains and discipline.

Yes he was.

Your probably right. But Long still did an outstanding job. The fack that his team went from #1 pick to the playoffs with a very strong Running game helps his case. Again, the TEAM was better for him being there. Even if his personal stats werent great, which they are, he was a major reason his team got better.

He was a good fit for the Dolpins.

But I wouldn't trade Clady or Albert for him.

On the day of the draft have Mecca and Frankie pick their top 20 prospects. We'll revisit the top 20 each year for the next 3 years.

If the draft was done over Clady would have been the first tackle taken.

Someone posted an article about OT's taken in the draft, can't seem to find it.

Anywho, it said if the draft was done today, Clady would have been the first LT taken.

I don't feel Crabtree is an elite prospect because he doesn't possess everything or have no question marks...he's not Calvin Johnson who's the last elite prospect.

Crabtree is from a spread offense and played 2 seasons....he's not fast, his numbers are from his scheme...physically he's similar to Dwayne Bowe with better hands...how is this worthy of a top 5 selection?

That "team" you mentioned beat only TWO TEAMS with winning records in 2008. The Patriots in week three and the Jets in week 17.

They weren't exactly dominating and I'd be shocked if they made it to 8-8 in 2009.

Who cares? Give them credit for their 10-game improvement. You're fanatical about certain things and you act like the other perpsective sucks.
