Hypothetical trade scenario....

Do you think the Iggles would trade their #20 and 27 draft picks this year and next year's 1st round draft pick for our #3 and Larry Johnson?

This might be a win/win situation for both teams. The draft picks would probably come out to the same value approximately. We get rid of Larry Johnson while at the same time get a couple of much needed first round draft picks. The Iggles get their two most pressing needs as they make one more run for the Superbowl, a running back and (presumably) a star WR in Crabtree.

We need to rebuild the team, we need draft picks. So yeah, the Iggles get a little better deal, but not that much. Like I said, whether we trade him or we cut him, Larry's bonuses are going to be accelerated against our cap. He isn't going to be a Chief next year, period--his bonuses are going to be accelerated one way or another.

Filling holes is for free agency and pornos.

The draft is about BPA, especially in the high first-round.

Drafted players don't hit their peak until 3-7 years in the future, and who knows what the team will look like by then.

We didn't NEED any offensive lineman in 2004, but if we would've draft Chris Snee instead of Junior Siiavi, we'd be better off today, wouldn't we?

First of all this trade wouldn't go down bc Philadelphia wouldn't do it. They dont draft WR's in the first round and the only one was Freddie Mitchell. They totally devalue the position. Eagles draft OL and DL with most of their first round picks. For RB, why would they want LJ when they can get McCoy or Wells with their first round pick? They can get a younger RB and max him and salary out better than they can with LJ.

this is a good deal for the Eagles?

they get 1 unproven player who will cost them an arm and a leg, and a washed-up, broke-down locker room cancer. we get 3 first-round picks.

I dare you to take a poll at an Eagles board and see who they think gets the better deal

Bengals wouldn't go for that but Detroit might.

Look at it from the other way. Since the Chiefs need defense, would you trade the Chiefs number #20 and 27 draft picks this year and next year's 1st round draft pick for the Ravens #26 and Terrell Suggs? (6'3", 260 pounds, 26 years old, in his 6 seasons Suggs has 5 INTs (2 for TDs), 15 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries, 263 tackles, and 53 sacks.) Plus, Suggs is not a head case and gives 100% and is almost impossible to keep out of the lineup for injury.

As a Ravens fan, I don't think I would even take all those picks for Suggs, he's too valuable. The Eagles would love to have Johnson, just like alot of other teams, but you're going to have to lower your expectations.

But is the Eagles on LJ's wish list of where he wants to go??????????????????? We all know that the Chiefs have to consider only the teams that LJ wants to play for...
