Pepsi Throwback
I've been excited about this stuff since I heard about it a few weeks ago. Yesterday, I was able to track down some 12 packs at Target. Essentially, Throwback is Pepsi sweetened with sugar, like they used to back in the day. Today, I finally tried one and it was ok. I had been incredibly excited and I guess expected something more.

Don't get me wrong, Throwback is still made of win; it just appears that my taste buds have grown accustomed to the Iowa-grown, flavoring compound.

Heard today that diet soda is good for kidney stones. Every man over 35 will start to swill the stuff. Out of a rational fear IMO.

Don't laugh but I have one thing on the grocery list and Pepsi Throwback is it.

Do you know how far back this recipe goes? In the mid 60's my Grandfather worked for a Pepsi distributor and his fridge was stocked with the stuff. It's the only time we ever got pop, mom was too cheap to buy it.
