Jerry Porter

Why not? Don't really know the story with him but I would think he would be worth bringing in for a look and we don't exactly have a lot to offer in the WR dept.

Huard may be horrible, but at least he beat the Donks.
WPI was reporting a couple years ago from training camp that Croyle was outplaying Huard without a doubt and there would be no way he wouldn't start the regular season. Huard was the starter come game 1. Now that is some good inside info.

Now to Porter he is decent when he wants to play but he hasn't shown much in a couple years. He would be okay on a min contract that a team could get out from under.

Croyle started against New England and Huard replaced him due to injury.

EDIT: I noticed you said a couple years ago, not last year. My sincerest apologies.
