It is impossible to know everything that these coaches do differently. We aren't on the team. We don't see every move each guy makes.

However, watch a press conference. McDaniels is pathetic. He doesn't talk with authority, he is almost apologetic in his demeanor. He comes across weak.

Haley is at times brash, but EVEN when he is humble, he comes across more confident. He has been firm, but fair from the beginning. There is no wishy washy aspect to him.

Clear expectations and a firm, but fair attitude keeps players in line.

There is no way that any player is watching McDaniels and thinking... Now, THAT'S a leader.

As far as a better resume... I don't think so.

McDaniels has had one more year as an OC. However, his entire coaching career has been with one NFL team. The team that has BB running the show, and Tom Brady as QB.

Haley has been with several teams as he has moved up the ranks. It has given him a wider base of knowlege and he has learned how to deal with all different types of players in many different environments.

The main difference I see in what he does is he doesn't come in and ruin a team for years down the road because the thinks he's a genius!!!

Here's some follow up information:

The Broncos settled on limiting Marshall's punishment to the preseason after conferring with the NFL, which recommended an "escalating" discipline schedule.

Goodell's been a hard ass about discipline, yet this is the avenue the league suggested.

"Escalating discipline" is straight out of the CBA. I remember reading it earlier this year, but like everything on Internet, that was so last month.

I did just find THIS link about Terrell Owens which is interesting as trivia: http://www.ryanmcbain.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5443

Check it out for a moment.

Here is the list of maximum penalties teams can impose: http://www.nflplayers.com/user/templ...pid=519&type=c
