Carl Peterson's legacy

KC is 2-28 in their last 30 games, the worst streak in the history of the NFL...yes, even worse than those expansion TB Bucs.

Succinct.

Dale Carter pulled one of the all time dirtiest plays I've ever seen when when he cut Tyrone Braxton's legs, causing him an ACL/MCL tear and then taunting him while on the ground. Carter was playing a few downs as a receiver in thise days.

It was the worst display I've ever seen on the field. Ever.

15 years without a playoff victory is his legacy.

Shouldn't that be Hunt's legacy, keeping him around despite that? Only other team that would do that is the Clippers.

The Clippers won a playoff series in 04(?). Even they get it right eventually.

I honestly dont think its hyperbole to say that Carl left this place in the exact same shape as Ken Lay left Enron...or Madoff *made off, ya gotta love it* left his clients.

Only now, when were finally trying to build something, is it possible to fully comprehend how empty he left us...like a spider that sucks out its victims guts & leaves nothing but a shell.

No. Hunt's Legacy, is one of highs and lows. The highs being mutiple championships and a founding father of the AFL.

The lows would be 40 years of futility after what once was a storied franchise.

You can not possibly be this ****ing stupid, can you?

That "playoff contending team" was going to be dismantled anyway.

They were getting old.

They weren't going to be contending for more than one more playoff, at best.

He was OK.

That's it. Nothing special, no wins to paint on the walls of the franchise, no accomplishments in any way, only a team that was competitive...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yes but he had talent, his nickel head cost us sometimes but it was fun to watch him play.
