Merriman's upside>>>>>>>>>>>>DJ At 25, Merriman is coming off a major knee injury and takes time to get back. At 26, DJ is playing 2nd team after playing 3 linebacker positions because he can't find a spot. When you need pass rushers (and as bad as Merriman has been - he'd be an upgrade) you'd have to be braindead not to do this deal.
