Legal Question
Any legal guys on here

I have this idiotic friend that let his girlfriend use his unemployment debit card about a month ago and she took over a thousand dollars out. Don't ask me how or why it took the jack ass this long to notice it, but it did. Is there anything he can do about it? Call the police etc.... You know she's just going to say he told her she could? Thanks in advance.

Why? A lot of people don't have bank accounts. That's a great solution to them not having to pay fees to get checks that don't cover their bills cashed. Being a debit card, it shouldn't work if there aren't funds available. Seems pretty reasonable to me, but I may be missing something obvious. It happens frequently enough.
