Saw Demonpenz's thread about Iron Eagle and thought this might be fun, (if it hasn't been done already). If it's been done, fricken humor me while I wait for the Ambien to start working.

What older or poorly executed movies would you like to see remade?

Just saw a promo and was thinking, this reminds me of Fright Night, and what-do-ya-know, it's a remake. Loved that movie as a kid! It'll probably suck but the timing is right with vamps being hot stuff.

There was serious talk in the last couple of years about a "Logan's Run" remake. But it seems to have died out. I checked IMDB and they list a remake as a 2014 project.

Minus the Sopranos part and with Coppula involved. I really thought they kinda set it up that way by the end of GF3.

BTW, GF3 would have been a hell of a lot better and closer to the first two if Robert Duvall had not insisted on equal billing with Pacino. Instead we got Zorro the Gay Blade as consigliere in an obviously re-written insignificant role. Oh, what could have been!
