Carl Peterson’s penthouse for sale, includes great neighbors

http://blogkc.com/archives/2010/03/c...eat-neighbors/

Former Chief’s General Manager Carl Peterson may be long gone from river city, but his Country Club Plaza penthouse was just listed for sale for a cool $4.25 million. The 4800 square foot pad features three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a 1000 square foot terrace, and super high-end finishes.

The building at 433 Ward Parkway is quite the party pad. The adjacent penthouse belongs to Annette Bloch, widow of H&R Block co-founder of Richard Bloch. Other tenants include developer Robert Esrey, philanthropist Beth Smith, Central Exchange president Ellen D’Amato, former H&R Block CEO Frank Salizzoni, and other assorted business and society types. Former Chief’s head coach Herm Edwards still owns a condo there as well.

433 Ward sits on the south bank of Brush Creek, next door to the Intercontinental Hotel and directly opposite the Granfalloon and Baja 600. Unit 7-W is the most expensive property currently for sale in the city limits, and third in the metro area behind the $6.7 million Mission Hills home of former Marion Labs CEO Fred Lyons and the $4.7 million Lee’s Summit house of developer David Burkart. Taxes on Peterson’s pad are about $18,000 a year, as it’s one of the few condo projects without a TIF or abatement.

Here are some pictures

On special weekends, such as Raiders/Chargers/Broncos week, it will be the official domocile of all out-of-town residents. We will hold any annual fundraisers there and I am sure for a small fee we could get Dinny to provide musical entertainment.

We will hold a Grand Opening at the first game of the new season with special guest appearances by Frazod to break in the refrigerator, Brad to provide the first official regurgitation, and other as-of-yet unnamed special invited guests.

Of course...all this is based on my winning the lottery.
If each poster with more than 1000 posts would kick in $6500 or so, we could make this happen. Who's in?

Huh. Honestly, I'd expect a lot more for that kind of dough. It's nice and all, but you must be paying for the location (and views) more than anything.

I picture Carl rapping on the windows. HEY GUYS! REMEMBER ME??? CAN I COME IN? JUST FOR A MINUTE?

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ague-meetings/

One of the various folks who have been spotted at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando is none other that former Chiefs president and G.M. Carl Peterson, who has been out of the league for more than a year after leaving the team he led for two decades.

Peterson has been linked in the past to the Dolphins, who could look to Peterson as the eventual replacement to V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells. Two years remain on the Tuna's contract.

Perhaps Peterson is looking for other employment. Or maybe he's trying to scare up a market for his $4.25 million condo in Kansas City.
