Ronnie Brown arrested on suspicion of DUI

Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown spent Friday night in an Atlanta-area jail after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Brown was pulled over for making a lane change without using his blinker late Friday during an offseason trip to his hometown of Rome, Ga. Brown, who has no prior arrest record, was released from jail early Saturday morning. Sources said he is "distraught" over the arrest, but the Dolphins are said to not be upset with Brown because they know he is a man of good character. He did not perform well during the field-sobriety test, which contributed to the officer's decision to arrest Brown. It remains possible that charges could soon be reduced to a traffic violation in the coming days.
