I don't think it's because I just became accustomed to losing, I had a serious bad temper up until I was about 27 or so. Getting in bar fights, causing problems at work, breaking stuff, got in trouble for road rage, getting in severe drunk rages. I have learned to control my temper and haven't had a rage moment in about 3 years. Including while I watch my sports teams. I'll yell at the TV a little bit, but I don't go crazy anymore.
Boy this is me in a nutshell. After breaking numerous things around the house, and literally feeling like I was in a streetfight on Monday mornings, I decided that if I was going to watch KC football, it had to be a more stress-less event. I still yell, and I was pretty fired up after the Houston loss....But when the game is over...It's over. I am NOT going to fall back into the trap of letting a KC loss ruin my week or even my Sunday night. It just isn't worth it to me.

I still love the Chiefs and yell loud for a win and a loss. But when it's over it's over.
