Give me some of that Merriman

I wish they could claim him. Next season he could be back to being a beast. He'd be a great DE in the 3-4.

He's still dangerous. I'm not saying that its ok to take plays off. I'm just saying that he along with MANY others at the WR position do as well. It's nothing new, especially if the running play is directed towards the other way. And I've seen Moss block. He gets a bad rap because of who he is and what his history is. If he's winning...just like TO, Ochocinco or any other prima-donna(sp?) WR, they'll be okay. I don't see what the big deal is. Would you rather have Chris Chambers, Terrance Copper out there? They're out there doing nothing anyways.

Lets say Moss takes half of his plays off. He STILL produces more than our other WR's. He also still is a big threat on every play opening things up for everyone else.

Think about it this way. Moss is useless in the running game. He doesn't block, never has, and anyone who says he does is lying to support their own agenda. So if we run the ball 40 times a game and pass it 25 times a game and Moss takes half of the passing plays off because he isn't the number one read on that play, then you are signing a guy to help the team on roughly a dozen plays a game.

I'll argue this point with anyone, you cannot win a championship with Moss on your team.

Or you could just have Moss jog down the field on running plays bringing at least two or three defenders with him so they aren't in the box stuffing the run game.

You do realize that corners look in the backfield to see what is happening, don't you? If a lineman fires out past the line of scrimmage, the corner won't care what Moss is doing.

merriman will be healthy next season and all of you think he was just good because of roids? He will still be good even wothout roids and ready to play. How is he done? He's not old and had a couple of injury years.

I don't care if he outproduces all of our WR's combined. Our running game will suffer. How many good runs have been sprung this season b/c a receiver made a good block? Plenty in the last game alone. Moss won't make that block, and the Chiefs will pay b/c of it.

**** Moss and Merriman. I'm happy with the team we have to finish out the year.

1. Moss would never come to KC.....he is a deep threat, we dont have a QB that can throw the ball more than 25 yards...

2. Roidboy is a complete f**ktard. I cant think of any player that I would want on the Chiefs less than Roidboy...also he is washed up without the hourly roid injections.
