Phil Taylor has foot condition; May fall

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rob Rang is reporting it, confirmed by teams and Baylor doctors.

Apparently, Taylor has bones in both feet growing together, which cannot be cured with surgery. He will have pain for the rest of his life and his big weight makes it worse. May give teams pause to take him in Round 1 and cause a slight fall, but who knows.

As stupid as this may sound, I would like for the Chiefs to draft a center.

Pouncey? I wouldn't mind the pick. Hopefully he could fall to #21. What are the chances? And he may be the best pick at that time? The Chiefs could use a center. Wiegman's old and I certainly don't want to see Niswanger in there again. That position could use an upgrade.

It's not stupid at all. It's our biggest hole.

A running team with one frail running back, no center and a marginal QB?

Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

True. Even if they did draft a center to add to what your saying, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea if they could somehow find another RB in the later rounds or via free agency. But for some reason I think they're going to stick with Thomas Jones even though I don't think they should.
