It's 2am...Direckshun, let's talk football

Dude, I think we could go deep in the playoffs. Really deep. I think the Pats could be a good matchup for us, and we could get past them. I also think a huge in-season statement game will be beating the pats on MNF. So if we ended with the 3rd seed, in theory I think we'd get a team like the Jags, Houston, Jets or Ravens. Maybe Chargers. We could beat these guys, take the Pats out, then it's just maybe Pit or Bal standing in our way.

I have a new found confidence in Cassel. I think he'll being himself to a top performance in the playoffs this year after easily winning the AFC West. (I doubt SD, Oak, Or Den go more than 8-8).

Not saying we can't. I'm saying it rarely happens.

This division plays each other tough. Doesn't matter if we're talking about a 8-1 team playing a 2-7 team. There are no guaranteed wins in this division, IMO.

Yet every year, people predict we're going to sweep the Raiders and/or Broncos - and it never happens.

FWIW, I agree with you. To make the playoffs, we have to go 4-2 at minimum inside the division.

Damn! That would be awesome and set up some must see TV nationally the next 5 weeks!
I don't know. Three of those games you just mentioned are in Division. I think the at San Diego game is a lock IMO, but the Monday Night game isn't. That team heats up around that time and they are excellent underdogs.

I'm thinking 6-3 or 7-2 after nine games.

If they do that well, then I'm expecting at least 2 wins in that Patriots/Jets/Bears/Packers stretch.

My expectations for this year include doing better than .500 in the division and not melting and playing small pussy vagina ball against good teams. We've got to beat some of them during the regular season.

It's a fail if we don't win 10 games.

Wow.

Is this the same place where so many people Cassell sucked, Cassell was the single worst mistake the team ever made, and Cassell hadn't shown them anything yet?

Now it's what they used to call a love-feast.

What happened?
