Well thanks man, it can be rough around here. I try to keep an open mind of posibilities that may work out for this team be better than what it is other than just how I want it to be. Not easy changing minds or open up if an opinion is what it is.

Anyways I'm more disapoint in Glenn Dorsey & he isn't being talked about much. Wasn't he suppose to be our NTotf? Now he is a DE, we like to move guys from where they were intended to be from the beginning.

Hell I'd like them to go back to a 4-3 base defense & add Powe to the line would make as much sense to me anyways. That's just adding more power to the line & still have Hali come off the edge. DJ in the middle and Houston on the left. EB can rome & do what ever as a LBsaftey mutant breed.
Now I'm and idiot for suggesting this.

The problem with running 43 defense is the Chiefs don't have a guy that can actually play 43RDE with the ability to get after the QB. Tamba could not do it after Jared Allen was traded. Frankly, Tamba is a limited player that has done remarkably well with his ability. But, nobody on this roster can handle that position, so you'll see them line up 43 in short yardage and goal line etc, but 34 everywhere else just like the last few seasons.

What you are going to see more of is the 2/4/5 and 2/3/6 dime defense because there's no ****ing sense in trotting out 3 ****ing losers on the DL if they can't ****ing get up field.

Well, I wouldn't think it would change much for Hali (provided he gets his shit together) from comming off the edge like he does? I think also that Poe is going struggle for a while at least at the nose & we can bulk up the middle by adding Powe next to him. Dorsey at the end and he better get to the QB with Poe & Powe collapsing the middle. I don't know? Just putting that out there but I also agree with what your saying it's about personel & attributes.

That was a crappy draft class. Everyone wants their top 3 to dominate but the truth is people are unrealistic about draft picks. Look at Jason Smith, the OT from Baylor who was taken right before Jackson. He has been beaten out by Barry Richardson this year.

Drafting a 3-4 DE in the top 5 is like drafing a punter in the 1st round.

It's ****ing stupid no matter how good they are.

It's just ****ing stupid. Always will be...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Tamba plays a different position as a ROLB compared to when he was 43RDE. It's a different spot he lines up and a different technique to learn. As an ROLB he is a 7 technique player lining up far outside the LT and when he was playing 43RDE he was playing 5 technique, lining up just off the LT's outside shoulder.

If Romeo gets to the end of his rope with these guys, you'll see Gordon, Poe & Powe, Ropiati and anyone with a pulse lining up at that 34RDE position. Now that they've lost their premier pass rusher, I'm pretty sure Romeo is going to shake this thing by the tail and see if there's any bite. Sheffield is supposed to be Hali's back up, but he's been injured.
