gift from the chiefs

So I take my son out to the game sunday. We end up being the recipients of the fan apreciation row prize pack. We get on the big screen and get to go receive our "prizes". The prize is a $20 scratchers card, but they wont give one to my son cuz he's only 10. They wont give me his, even though I have two tickets in the row. Cheap bastards. So, the rest of the prize pack is a 2012 chiefs yearbook, of which, half of the people in it wont be here next year, and finally, drumroll......... A Heart CD. Yeah, Heart. You know, that blonde that used to be pretty thirty years ago with the fat sister. So, I end up with a scratchers card that doesn't win anything, two worthless chiefs yearbooks, and TWO crappy CD's. I tried to listen to the cd on the way home but my son and I agreed it sucked, so both are in the quickdrip dumpster. What a cheap assed organization.

So as soon as she turned fat, she couldn't sing anymore? Was it a video that you needed to look at her?

I'm surprised they weren't giving away Brady Quinn bobble-heads.

It's true. They advertised that on the scoreboard a few times during the game. My dad and I had to confirm with each other that we really just saw that.

No, she can probably still sing. the cd sucks though, and if you filled arrowhead with 70,000 fans and asked them to rate the top 500 bands they'd like a free cd from, I'm pretty sure not a single person would say Heart. So, it was more of a wtf?

Jesus. That sounds like a King of the Hill gag or something. I'm not surprised at all because it's the Chiefs, and they're about as clueless and out of touch as the Royals when it comes to fan appreciation and interaction, but still.

This is better than the time I caught a MetRx T-shirt out of one of those shirt bazookas at an Aztecs basketball game.

I agree that's terrible marketing!! Maybe they'll clean that house too and I can apply for to be their marketing director in 2013.

How many of those 70,000 would realize they're not going to get a free Justin Bieber cd?
