Romeo throws half of the team under the bus...

Yet another reason having him being DC and HC at the same time is a bad idea.

When asked about the tension and angst that's created when you get "kicked" on both sides of the line of scrimmage, he said (and I'm paraphrasing):

"I don't think that's accurate. I don't think we got kicked on BOTH sides of the ball. The defense played well. We made some mistakes late in the game and let them get some yards but I don't think the defense got 'kicked' at all."

I'm thankful for RAC. If the Chiefs had a coach of even limited competence, they might win six meaningless games. With Romeo at the helm, they might not win another. This team needed to hit rock bottom (again). The only way to replace this awful regime.

Our offense is 31st in the league in points scored, while our defense is 28th in points allowed. It's clear that the offense is the problem.

Coaching matters, even when these lazy one who sucks the peniss shouldn't need it getting paid millions of dollars to play a game. Someone needs to be there and ram the basics and fundamentals up their collective asses with a broomstick. Ingrain it into their very existence.

These are a bunch of high profile college guys that succeeded at that level by simply being better than the other guy because they were (athletically, naturally, whatever). Fundamentals. Shove that shit up their asses.

But "player coaches" like Herm and Romeo aren't doing it.

Fire these pricks and get someone in here that will teach these guys how to play some ****ing football.

Can we get Fisher Deberry and Bill Synder to come in here on a daily basis after this season?

Honestly, he would have been better off just saying "we didn't get kicked", emphasis on the word "we".

But he's the defensive coordinator, so going of the way he did going out of his way to talk up the defense makes him look self-serving and petty. Not what you want out of your HEAD COACH.

Then again, there's not much he does that you want out of your head coach.

so you want him to say LESS interesting things at the presser?

agree with the second bit.

But I don't think the head coach has to defend the team's honour. He should hav acknowledge that they were kicked in every respect. IMO.
