Women's MMA is too new of a product. There really isn't any serious talent other than Rousey. She's a big fish in a tiny little pond. No parody in women's MMA. It's pretty much like that in most womens' sports across the board though.

I dont pay attention to women's MMA. I think it's silly personally but I know she draws a lot of viewership plus she's hot (or can be hot at times) so she's a very marketable person.

She needs to fight Cyborg though. That's the fight everyone wants to see. That's the women's version of Anderson Silva vs GSP superfight that everyone wants (or wanted) to see. Dana needs to hook that shit up.

Maybe not since she is off the steroids. When she was all juiced up, she was more mannish than Caitlyn Jenner.

Don't believe Rousey vs Cyborg will ever happen. Last I heard Cyborg wants to fight Rousey at a catch weight. There's no benefit for Rousey to do that. Cyborg will have to make weight and it seems like that is never going to happen.

she's fighting soon at 140. She just cant lose the weight fast. she has to do it slowly. IT will get done. there is way way way way to much ****ing money in this for it to not happen.

If Miesha Tate, as expected, loses to Rousey then she's going to be in a weird spot. She would be either the champion or the clear #1 contender if Rousey wasn't there, but it would take a very long time, if ever, for her to work her way back up to a 4th shot. Tate is also young enough that she's still going to fight for a while.

In that situation, Tate could serve the UFC very well as a high-level gatekeeper to the endboss. Any new up and coming fighter who can beat Tate obviously should get a title shot.

edit: woops, wrong thread

Parody is absolutely not the word you are looking for in this context. It's Parity bud.

Rousey might be one of the 5 most popular athletes in the world right now. Hard to sustain that star power in UFC. Might want to consider more cross over work like WWE, more movies, etc.

She will likely have a match at Wrestlemania this next year. I imagine they will put something together with her and Stephanie McMahon to build on what they did this past Mania. It will be an overbooked mess with Steph throwing every obstacle she can in Rousey's way before she finally gets her hands on her and the crowd will eat it up.
