Ok, time to stop this shit. Time to get back on track and we've done well against the division this year. Volquez on the hill

That means we only have to play .260 ball
Problem is right now is we're playing just about that.....

So what's this mean? If we don't get our shit together we could be playing the Twins in their house for the Division in our last series of the season

and we would have had the biggest collapse in baseball, ever
You are obsessed with Minnesota.

Just to correct your math, if the Twins do go 12-7, which is really good couple weeks but certainly possible, the Royals have to finish 2-17 to lose the division outright.

If we manage to win only 5 games like you suggest, the Twins have to finish 15-4.

You just dont, collectively, fall off a cliff like this as a whole.
Go to the east on I-70, same thing is happening over there right now. Pretty much identically what the Royals are doing.

Unreal every team we face is on and just crushing our pitching. Even we win the division it plants the doubt in the back your mind that maybe your not as good as you thought.

What current pace are you referring to them continuing on? Their last 10 is .500. The season is .521. You have them finishing at .650 winning percentage. Their current pace suggests they will when 9-10 games not 12-13.
And just for the record, if the Twins finish 10-9, the Royals have to finish 0-19 to lose the division.

Perhaps my math was off but I don't think it's I am obsessed with the Twins, though I hate them so, I am just so juiced about us actually winning the division for the first time in how long???

After the Chiefs collapse in the playoffs I feel like the sports Gods love to **** with us in the cruelest of ways

Prince Fielder just hit a homer to put the Rangers ahead of the Astros in the 8th inning. They could be 0.5 games back.

Literally no one is talking about Texas but they are a bigger threat than people think. They have tons of playoff experience and Hamels/Holland at the front of their rotation. They can do more damage than people probably expect.

They're a shit team that's been out scored by nearly 30 runs on the year.

We should all be rooting for Texas to win the division in the event we lose home field.

You know how to read stats but it often seems like you don't know how to use them with any context.

Why would you even look at their yearly stats? They've had Hamels for 7 starts and Holland for 6. It's like they got two aces at the deadline.

They are 26-15 since August 1st. They are +16 in that span. I still argue their top three of Hamels/Holland/Gallardo is good as any pitching staff in the American League at this point. Fielder, Beltre, Hamilton, Choo can all hit, they steal bases. They probably aren't the best team on paper but they've got weapons. If we end up playing them in the 1st round I would not be the least bit surprised.

I don't know if I agree. I would pick the Royals against either but I think it's a wash at this point. We don't hit lefties, and Houston can throw Keuchel/Kazmir at us. Texas can throw Hamels/Holland. It worries me.

We literally don't know for sure who our #1 in the playoffs is. Toronto doesn't know who their #2 is. The Rangers have Hamels, Holland, and can follow that up with Gallardo, who can pitch at almost an ace level. He's one of two pitchers to hold Toronto to 1 run or less in the last month. Tanaka from the Yankees has done it twice. They can hit homers, steal bases, and their bullpen isn't great but they've got 3-4 guys at the back end pitching pretty well. I know the playoffs are a crapshoot anyway but they are in good shape.
