Should the Chiefs trade Sean Smith if losing trend continues?
Just an idea that popped into my head... If the path continues as is with losses and we go into full tank mode... Should we ship Smith to say, New England? I know it's not likely but he's in a contract year, I doubt we keep him with the price tag + age...

If Belichick was to offer up a 3rd rounder, would you? I think if we're sitting at 1-6/2-5, it's a necessary move.

Edit: I suppose Tamba and DJ are in the same conversation too.

Comp picks are very subjective. Smith may not get the money we expect when everyone else looks at him. New England is a solid CB from a Super Bowl again, maybe even without one they will be there. I think they'd give a 4th or 3rd.

Throw some resources at the running game (OL) and have a top third D, or you are basically guaranteeing your guy will wash out. Berry and Howard could be gotten cheap, I think you have to do it.
