Figured I'd get this discussion going sooner than later. Here's your thread to suggest ways to make this place great. This can be anything from new capabilities (though no promises on making anything work), new ways of organizing things, whatever.

As examples, I think we need to figure out a way to meet the desires of people who want calm, in-depth discussion of the Chiefs and people who love a no-holds-barred, in-your-face style.

I also keep thinking about ways to have more unique content, kind of like gblowfish's 10 Things threads. Maybe we could have people write regular features or something like that?

I certainly don't have the answers, but we might as well use the offseason to talk about some cool ideas.

When I look at how censorship and politics have ruined platforms like facebook, youtube, and twitter I'm reminded how spoiled I am to have found this place and spent most of the last 20 years posting here.

We really, really do have it made. And for anyone who wants to bash the mods or admins (and I have in the past) we again have the best there are. In other places no one, mods included, can take a joke.

Here the mods might change your handle to Richard Goblin with a NAMBLA avatar...
